The climate change discussions in Coppenhagen took twist by an unexpected announcement from Hilary Clinton. "On Thursday morning, moments after the African nations complained that the negotiations were going nowhere, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared in a crowded press briefing room at the summit and announced that the United States would contribute to a $100 billion international fund starting in 2020 -- as long as "all major nations" commit their emissions reductions to a binding agreement and submit those reductions to transparent verification. And by "all major nations," she meant China." http://www.politicsdaily.com/2009/12/17/deal-or-no-deal-time-in-copenhagen/ -Cenus objections have been brewing heated reactions. What can be done to address the concerns. Consider these questions: Should the census be taken? Why or why not How should this census process be funded? What happens when people do not participate in the census? How do inaccurate census counts hurt America? How does the U.S. benefit from census results? Is the census constitutional? Where does the constitutional legislation address the census? Should census avoiders be prosecuted? What should the punishment be for immigrants who refuse to participate in the census? This series of programs are designed to offer tangible solutions to the critical issues that are challenging the quality of life in various populations. Each segment will begin with a clearly stated problem, along statistics about the problem before inviting participants to help develop workable solutions. We invite forward thinkers, entrepreneurs and solutions oriented talkers to engage in meaningful problem solving.
