When it comes to substance abuse treatment and other health care services, there appears to be a big difference in the treatment available as well as the legal involvement as they relate to race and culture. Some concerned experts are suggesting that this disparity is due to racism. Grants from the National Institute and Health as well as from the U.S. Department of Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. This series of programs are designed to offer tangible solutions to the critical issues that are challenging the quality of life in various populations. Each segment will begin with a clearly stated problem, along statistics about the problem before inviting participants to help develop workable solutions. We invite forward thinkers, entrepreneurs and solutions oriented talkers to engage in meaningful problem solving.
