Problem: Teen Pregnancy on the Rise

With teen birth rates in 26 states, agencies and community leaders are seeking tangible solutions. A grant opportunity called Children, Youth, and Families at-Risk (CYFAR) Sustainable Community Projects may be used to fund solutions that target this critical issue. The funds are designed to address children and youth facing issues of drugs, violence, crime, teen pregnancies, sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS, obesity, isolation, poor school achievement, etc. This series of programs are designed to offer tangible solutions to the critical issues that are challenging the quality of life in various populations. Each segment will begin with a clearly stated problem, along statistics about the problem before inviting participants to help develop workable solutions.
