NC Crime Lab Lied , Innocent People Died - State of the Injustice System

While it was reported nationally by the corporate news media in July, it is no longer getting much mainstream attention because the mainstream media is fixated on the fruadulent Tea Party. In North Carolina however, it is still big news,authorities and law makers are scrambling to contain the fall out over the SBI Crime Lab scandal.

In national news, finally the Scott Sisters are getting mainstream news coverage and the grassroots efforts to push for justice in Mississippi's Injustice should not go un-acknowledge. Many civil rights/human rights issues have benefited from new media tools and the internet which speaks to the bright future of Civil Rights strategies of the 21st Century.

Jim DeMint talks a good game about freedom and liberty and free markets but he is no Libertarian. As a leader of the fraudulent corporately controlled Tea Party, he along with Sarah Palin and most of the so-called Tea Party candidates are solidly in the neo-conservative camp. Now DeMint is making his move to totally co-opt the issue of fiscal responsibility and tie it to social conservative policies which should make true Libertarians cringe. One blog claiming to be libertarian is dreaming of a Jim DeMint/Ron Paul ticket in 2012. Jimm DeMint is also one of the Republicans holding the middle class tax buts to extend the Bush Tax cuts for the wealthy, a policy that helped create huge deficits and no jobs to speak of.
