From leukemia to inherited blood diseases like sickle cell anemia, a bone marrow transplant can be an important part of treatment.  Dr. Rex Crawley was a tireless advocate for and former board member of Be The Match (http://www.bethematch.org/) and made it his mission to shed light on the need for African-American bone marrow donors, even up until his death.  Along with Rex’s wife, Daria, our guest Howard Russell has taken the mantle to further Dr. Crawley’s mission of shedding light on the need for African-American bone marrow donors and the need for African-Americans to get registered.  Join our host Eric J.
