  The new, "Whenever" format
  

  For those of you wondering, "On the Bright Side" isn't dead. But it's definately on life support . . .
  
  While I love doing the shows and researching the material I've used, it does take a LOT of time. I average close to two hours of prep time for each 15 - 30 min. show. Often I can combine that work with listening to other hosts, but with the changes that BTR has made since the first of the year, that is becoming increasingly more difficult. My computer is constantly fighting off the adware and things of that nature buried in the BTR feed. So it's not unusual for my computer to lock up or stop in the middle of what I'm working on if I'm listening to a show at the same time. Not only is that terribly annoying and frustrating, but more important, it is VERY wasteful of my time. And that's something I don't waste for anyone - especially when there's no return for my effort to begin with.
  
  So "On the Bright Side" will continue, but not as a daily show. Sometimes there'll be two or three in a week and I expect some weeks there won't be any. It's all gonna depend on what's on the calendar, both historically, and in my  plans for the day. If I have nothing to do (so far the sun has never risen on THAT day), and all day to do it, I'll do a show. If there's something significant on the calendar and I can fit it in, I'll do a show. Other than that, like they used to do George Jones, you can call me, "No Show."
