In 2004, Murphy opened his first shop with the Landmarc (Tribeca) and today serves as Executive Chef and owner of all of the restaurants in the Benchmarc Restaurants Group, including Landmarc (May, 2007), Ditch Plains Upper West Village (May, 2006) as well as the catering arm of the group, Benchmarc Events by Marc Murphy.
