Art of Living favorite, Chef Carla Hall returns to the show. Carla is best known as the "Hootie Hoo" catch-phrase competitor on Bravo's Top Chef, where she won audiences over with her "cooking with love" philosophy. She owns and operates "Alchemy by Carla Hall," an artisan cookie company that specializes in creating sweet and savory "petite bites of love." Carla's approach to cooking blends together with classic French training and Southern upbringing for a twist on traditional favorites. She can also be seen on ABC's "The Chew," with co-host Iron Chefs Mario Batali and Mchael Symon, Entertaining Expert, Clinton Kelly, and Author and Wellness Enthusiast, Daphne Oz, airing weekdays at 1 pm Eastern, 12 Pacific/Central time. Hall is committed to health and balance in everyday living. An accounting degree was set aside when Carla traveled through Europe and awakened her passion for food, inspiring a new career path. She attended L'Academie de Cuisine in Maryland, followed by working as a Sous Chef at the Henley Park Hotel in Washington, D.C., and serving as Executive Chef at both The State Plaza Hotel and The Washington Club, and has taught classes at CulinAerie and at her alma mater, L'Academie de Cuisine. Carla lives her belief that "If you're not in a good mood, the only thing you should make is a reservation!"
