PBS icon Nick Stellino came to the United States from Palermo, Sicily, in 1975. He left a lucrative career as a Wall Street stockbroker to follow his dream of becoming a chef, and started out in the lowly ranks of dishwasher. Over time, he apprenticed with the best chefs in America, saying , "I was in heaven working my way up the restaurant line, but I wanted to share my enthusiasm for Italian cooking with more people. I decided a cooking show was the answer." With the entrepreneurial vision that had taken him from Palermo to Wall Street, Nick began calling television production companies, and eventually landed the highly successful series "Nick Stellino Cooking With Friends;" "Cucina Amore, I, II, and III;" Nick Stellino's Family Kitchen, I, II, III, IV, and V", and the PBS specials, "Nick Stellino's Dinner Party," and "Nick Stellino" Food, Love, and Family." Nick has been a featured guest on the Oprah Winfrey show, CBS This Morning, and Good Morning America, and in many national publications. As a motivational speaker, Nick has a prestigious list of clients including Pompeiian Olive Oil, Domino Sugar, C & H Sugar, Bolla Wines of Italy, Maurice Lacroix Luxury Watches, Sears, Marriott Hotels/Resorts, and many others. Traveling the US and abroad, sharing his passion for food and life is what Nick is all about.
