"LOVELY, STILL"
Twenty-four year old Nik Fackler began writing and directing short films during high school in Omaha, Nebraska. His work as a painter and filmmaker was quickly noticed by members of Omaha’s music scene, and before long he began directing music videos for many high-profile local acts. "Lovely, Still" is his feature-directing debut.
"Lovely, Still," filmed in Nik's hometown, Omaha, stars esteemed actors Ellen Burstyn and Martin Landau. It is a beautifully and poignantly told holiday tale that tells the story of an elderly man discovering love for the first time, and is scheduled to premiere for the 2010 holiday season.
Nik wrote the story when he was only seventeen years old. On the IMDB website, 102 viewers of the movie have given it 8.2 stars out of 10.
