Y & R TAKES A "CHANCE"

John Driscoll joined the cast of "The Young And The Restless" last July, as Army veteran Phillip “Chance” Chancellor IV. His character returned from war to discover that his father Phillip (played by two-time OWT guest, Thom Bierdz) had faked his own death. Now Chance has to come to terms with getting to know his father and learn what it means to be a Chancellor.

Driscoll most recently portrayed Henry Cooper “Coop” Bradshaw on the CBS daytime drama “Guiding Light” from September, 2004 through January, 2009.

John's acting credits include the short film “Happenstance,” and television appearances on “Law and Order: Criminal Intent,” “The Book of Daniel,” “One Tree Hill,” “Dawson’s Creek” and “Young Americans.” He also had a brief run on the New York stage in an off Broadway ensemble production.

Along with years of singing, dancing and modeling experience, Driscoll greatly enjoys the outdoors and sports. He has also been involved with various charitable organizations since his college days and continues to participate in many benevolent events and activities.
