"DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES" HUNK

Jesse Metcalfe is a former model, whose handsome features made him the natural choice for television's supernatural daytime drama, "Passions," where he made his debut as Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald in the late 90's.

The Tisch School of Arts graduate has also appeared in a number of commercials and magazines on his way up. Sent on an open call for "Passions" by his modeling agency in 1999, Metcalfe won out over hundreds of other actors, thanks to his relaxed talent in front of the cameras, combined with leading-man good looks. After an impressive five-year run on the soap opera, Jesse appeared in a recurring role on the popular "Smallville."



It was the the ABC nighttime hit, "Desperate Housewives" where he garnered attention as the gardener boy-toy 'John Rowland,' who is 'Gabby's' (played by Eva Longoria) on-again-off-again affair.

From his popularity on "Desperate Housewives," Metcalfe made the leap to the large screen in the theatrical release, "John Tucker Must Die," where he played an eponymous serial cheater. He co-starred last year in "Beyond A Reasonable Doubt," alongside Michael Douglas and Amber Tamblyn.

Jesse Metcalfe can currently be seen in the new season of "Desperate Housewives," and has a film currently in production.
