Melissa won "The Next Food Network Star," on Sunday, August 2, after a hard fought battle against some pretty heavy contenders. This was all the more impressive given that she does not have a culinary degree, and is a stay-at-home Mom of four daughters under the age of five, including 1 year old twins.

"The Next Food Network Star" announced winner Melissa after a star-studded fifth season on Food Network. Her new daytime series "Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d’Arabian," premiered Sunday, August 9th at 12:30pm ET/PT. Melissa will show viewers how to incorporate creative and tasty meals into their budgets by sharing her tried-and-true recipes while always keeping her $10 promise: four people, ten bucks, infinite possibilities.
