He started selling art when he was only 15, and not too long later ended up working as a designer for the City of Dallas, freelancing on the side as an illustrator. He later accepted an offer to work for a publisher in Oxford, England, and got deeply involved in book design and production. He founded RD (design) Studio 4 years later, based in Seattle and London, specializing in book design and various forms of package design. His clients have included Microsoft, AOL, Coca Cola, and top ad agencies, Barons, Harcourt Brace, McGraw-Hill, and others. He is also the author of the forthcoming book, "How To Self-Publish The Easy Way."
