Special Guests Joe Beelart & Cliff Olsen

Cliff had the fortune to live in the Clackamas district of the Mt. Hood National Forest for 13 years where he worked at a PGE hydro-electric power site. There is a small PGE housing project in the forest for employees. He went up there in 1956 and came across his first track on Oak Grove Butte during deer season 1957. Before he retired in 1996, he spent some time doing investigations for Peter Byrne in the Clackamas area when Peter had his Hood River operation. They met through Ray Crowe's Western Bigfoot Society. Cliff is very, very knowledgeable about the woods and the animals therein. He has much "common sense," and is a fine companion. Beginning in 1999, we have camped out many times. Joe Beelart, lives across the Willamette River from Cliff in West Linn, Oregon, born July 1, 1947 / family farm is in the Oregon Coastal Range foothills with forest backing it 60 miles to the coast / 62 years old / has worked with industrial pumps and electrical control devices for about 25 years / as a result has traveled most of the northwest and northern California. Became interested in Bigfoot late 1993. Met Ray Crowe by accident at his book store in 1995. Joined the Western Bigfoot Society in 1997. Concentrates on field work in the upper Clackamas River basin, the Wind River drainage in SW Washington, and the central Oregon Coastal Range.
