A seasoned communications professional, Jamie Feldstein has extensive experience in all aspects of journalism and public relations, with specialized expertise in media relations and editorial coverage in the wellness, entertainment and consumer sectors. Her career achievements include developing and executing strategic public relations campaigns to secure national and international media coverage through broadcast, print, online and radio outlets. After 14 years of studying and working in Atlanta, GA Jamie felt the calling to explore opportunities out West, moving to Los Angeles in 1998. Her sights were set on developing a Holistic Medicine talk show but alas this was not meant to be as funding was lost amidst the dot-com boom in the late 1990's. In turn, Jamie returned to her roots and worked in both the editorial and public relations sectors. As a writer, editor, documentary segment producer and media relations executive, she has in-depth experience developing and fostering relationships with the media, medical doctors and holistic practitioners. Some 5 years later, Jamie intuitively knew that it was time to switch gears. Having weathered the trials and tribulations of eating disorder recovery beginning 20+ years ago, she made the life-changing decision to return to school in 2004. Jamie pursued Clinical Psychology at Antioch University Los Angeles and is currently working as a Marriage and Family Therapy intern, closing in on the 3,0000 hours of training necessary in order to be eligible for taking the MFT licensure exams. Most recently, Jamie has worked at myriad Eating Disorder facilities in the Los Angeles area. In addition she has trained at several dual diagnosis treatment facilities in Malibu and did a year stint at Santa Monica High School via Jewish Family Services. Jamie brings to her work an off beat sense of humor and an unwavering hope for healing those who are grappling with the dis "ease" of addiction.
