Sally Landau is a California-based dating coach, who works with women over forty (at least those who are willing to admit it) who hate to date and want a mate. Having co-managed an architecture firm for 25 years, majored in psychology, endured hundreds hours of self-help seminars, and since 2001, has been a certified life coach, Sally is highly qualified in her work in this field. She lectures, she coaches, she blogs and lives by her company name, Dating Can Be Fun. Sally proved this a few years ago when she went on 46 first dates with quality men (incidentally, these were L.A. guys), and while she kept hearing dreadful and time-suckingly awful dating stories, she had fun dating. And she thinks flirting is a reason to get up in the morning, and wishes the word didn’t have a bum rap. (Better to call it banter.) Sally has a system to help her clients know and love themselves, focus on who they are really seeking in a mate, and play in the moment. She makes the process fun, because, dating is supposed to be fun. And, by the way, she’s been with date No. 45 since August 2003 and got married in August 2009.
