In this episode of EGUA - Marketplace we discuss our upcoming first annual HOODOO MAYN: Hoodoo Nation Festival, occurring in Washington, DC on October 17th. This is a free all-day event open to the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) community. We will have vendors with unique handmade products such as natural soaps, shea butter, cocoa butter, self-published books, clothing, natural herbs, roots, etc. We will also have speakers dealing with different aspects of Hoodoo, natural healing, etc. including our presentation on HOODOO - The Akan Ancestral Religion in North America.

We are publishing a HOODOO MAYN Nhoma (Journal) for the event which will be given freely to all attendees. It will include articles on Hoodoo as well as natural healing. It will also function as an Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) business, organization and institution directory.
