In this episode of EGUA Marketplace, we examine economic development in the context of independence and Amansesew - Nationbuilding/Restoration. We examine the Gullah Wars, often mislabeled the 'Seminole Wars'. Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) established their independence from enslavement and waged a military campaign against the united states government which lasted for decades. The Gullah Wars were a major factor in forcing the whites and their offspring to accept abolition and emancipation.
