In this episode of ODWIRA, we continue our series on the Zep Tepi - the creation of the world. The cosmology of Khanit and Kamit (Nubia and Egypt) delineates the process whereby the world was created by Amenet and Amen (Nyamewaa and Nyame in Akan) - The Great Mother and Great Father Who comprise the Supreme Being. We examine Annu.

The whites and their offspring have put forward the false notion that there were differing and 'competing' cosmologies in ancient Kamit based on different groups of people at different times having disparate beliefs. This is totally inaccurate. The various creation accounts found in the different centers of ritual (temples) in ancient Kamit and Khanit reference different aspects and stages of the unfolding of Creation. Thus, the accounts of Creation associated with Ta Apet, Khemenu, Men Nefer and Annu (Thebes, Hermopolis, Memphis and Heliopolis) detail the orderly unfolding of the Created Universe governed by specific Abosom (Deities) who govern their respective stages.

Misinformed Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) embrace the pseudo-analysis published by the whites and their offspring and have therefore perpetuated this misinformation. Moreover, they have also sought to apply this pseudo-analysis to the various cultures of Afuraka/Afuraitkait (Africa). This is based on a lack of facility with the actual Abosom (Orisha, Vodou, Arusi, Ntorou/Ntorotu) - Deities - Who govern Creation. The people of Kamit and Khanit worshipped and learned directly from the same Abosom that we worship and learn directly from today. Ritual practice is thus key to understanding cosmology.
