In this episode of ODWIRA we address Conjuration and Experience as the key to understanding Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion. Learning our Ancestral languages, ritual dances, ritual songs, ritual prayers, divination, initiations, ritual adornments and more are expressions of actual experience with the Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo (Deities and Spiritually Cultivated Ancestral Spirits). Without direct experience via conjure with the Abosom and Nsamanfo, these expressions are meaningless and do not lead to authentic knowledge of the Abosom and Nsamanfo nor the Ancestral culture and religion in general. Direct experience via conjure includes various forms of akom and nkom (spirit-possession and spirit-communication) inclusive of dreams, animal totem interfacing, out of body experiences and more.
