In this episode of AKANFO NANASOM: Ancient Authentic Akan Ancestral Religion we begin our series on the spiritual organs of Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People). We address the nature of the Okra/Okraa, the Soul or Divine Consciousness. The Okra (male) or Okraa (female) is called Ka and Kait in ancient Kamit. The Okra/Okraa is an Obosom (Deity) which is assigned to us by Nyamewaa-Nyame - The Supreme Being. Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion/Spirituality revolves around our relationship with our Okra/Okraa. The Abosom and Nananom Nsamanfo (Deities and Ancestral Spirits) empower and guide us based on the directives encoded within our Okra/Okraa. The Okra/Okraa is called the Ori Inu in Yoruba and the Se Lido in Vodoun.

We will examine our book:
