FYI: Obama's mother is from the state of Kansas not Kansas City. That's a common mistake for people outside of Missouri. When people speak of Kansas City they are referring to Kansas City, Missouri - not Kansas. Kansas City, Kansas is a small town like Council Bluffs, IA. Carlos
