Finally we are past the presidential election of 2012, time to regain our sanity as we remember where our focus needs to be. First on Eyes Open, Justin takes a look at a talk NASA Climate Scientist James Hansen gave to workers in New York telling them that the time to act on climate change is now, and workers at the heart of the military industrial complex go on strike. I cope with post-election depression laying out my disappointments with ALL our options in 2012. Then, on Like It Is, Robert joins us by phone to talk about election-day on the DREAM Act and gay marriage, and why fighting for equality under the law can leave so many behind. Next, Kathryn Seidewitz checks in with American University students whose tuition will go up no matter who's in the White House. Plus, Justin looks at the reality of Obama's drone warfare for the people on the ground in Pakistan. I'll round out the show speaking of Occupy Sandy volunteer Diego Ibañez on the value of mutual aid in community.
