Tonight the word of the evening is Strike! Justin Jacoby Smith talks about the settlement of the Chicago Teacher's Union, Verizon workers, rumblings of an NFL solidarity strike, and news from the front lines of information warfare 
We'll get behind the scenes of motives for the Chicago Teacher's strike with Robert Stephens talking to 2nd year teacher Doni Lewis who teaches in the KIPP program in Oklahoma, but has roots in the Chicago Public School system. 
One year since the inception of this movement we take a minute to reflect on the past 12 months and discuss our hopes for the future. I'll will be hosting a women's round-table on the subject on Fearless Feministas. 
Rounding out the program we'll have another segment of Rising Globe where we'll inspire you with the soundtrack of Egyptian Revolution. Tune in!
