The NY Hip Hop Report, New York hip hop's #1 talk radio show, returns for the 2014 season with a bang!

Join Birthplace Magazine's Manny Faces and Steven Ortiz as they welcome listeners back with a one-two punch of hip hop heavyweights: Veteran rapper and actor Saigon (Entourage, VH1's Love and Hip Hop) & inimitable rap dynamo Homeboy Sandman (Stones Throw Records).

Saigon, currently starring in VH1's Love and Hip Hop: New York, will be appearing in his one man show, Hip Hop My Way, later in the week in New York City. The next installment of his highly anticipated album series The Greatest Story Never Told, is due out in February.

Queens-bred Homeboy Sandman, also performs later in the week, headlining Gramercy Theatre before heading out on tour to Australia.

This episode is sponsored by:

Rennie Harris PureMovement, Jan. 29 - Feb. 2 at The Joyce Theater

The program, started in 2012 by Birthplace Magazine founder Manny Faces, has included interviews with iconic figures such as Big Daddy Kane and Video Music Box’s Ralph McDaniels, as well as special shows, including an April, 2013 broadcast live from the 10th annual L’Original Festival, a yearly international hip hop festival in Lyon, France.
