Former President & CEO of BBC Worldwide Americas, Sarah Frank knows how to make things happen in the world of entertainment and educational media. For thirty years, she’s steered the production and distribution of quality educational and entertainment programming in the U.S. and international television industry. Now she advises her corporate, private and non-profit clients on maximizing global opportunities from the exploitation of intellectual property, and she's executive producer of a variety of radio and television programming and educational projects. Her recent productions include Moment of Luxury, a multi-part lifestyle series for public television; They Made America, a 4-part documentary series co-produced with WGBH and a public radio documentary based on Sir Harold Evans’ critically-acclaimed book; and Liner Notes, a public radio series for Cunard. She is currently overseeing the development of a multi-media, web-enhanced distance learning course on innovation for colleges and universities based on They Made America called Making it New: Invention, Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Innovators in America, a traveling museum exhibition and educational program. As former President & CEO of BBC Worldwide Americas, the BBC’s commercial subsidiary in North and South America, she spearheaded the company’s aggressive growth from a small sales office into a prominent media organization in the US. She began her television career as a member of the first team that sold Sesame Street around the world. She serves on the Boards of New York Theatre Ballet, The Foundation of the New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, is an Honorary Board Member of the Coalition for Quality Children's Media, a voting member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, and a member of the New York Women's Forum.
