Nutmeg’s Mix is a show about whatever Nutmeg feels like saying or playing. Nutmeg rambles alot and plays mostly independent/local music, and also some mainstream music too. Originally, the show was about the listener, and the many talents that you may have out there. She wants to feature musicians, poets, cosplay, visual artists, video gamers, sports, film makers, comedians – hobbies and talents of all types. Every show is a sort of an open-mic night, and there was supposed to be a discussion on a specific issue each show. Nutmeg still would like to run her show this way, however since there's not a whole lot of audience participation, what's a gal to do? Nutmeg understands you do have better things to do on a Friday night than listen to Internet Radio, and it's all good :) In the future, she would like to do live interviews with bands and other folks Nutmeg knows who are very talented individuals. 1) Absolute ignorance, especially when it comes to race, religion, language, age……….. 2) U.S. History & how it is taught in schools- they lied to us about many things….. 3) immigration bullsh*t ……from a country founded by immigrants….just tax the f*ckers and let them stay! 4) abortion 5) corn. I like the taste, but I don’t like to look at it twice. 6) Racism & discrimination 7) people who abandon their children & men who deny paternity….. 8) child abuse 9) poverty 10) liars 11) People who don’t use turn signals. People who drive at 20mph, like it’s a Sunday f*cking drive, when really it’s rush-hour on a Monday morning. People who drive with their high-beams on 24/7. People who drive on the shoulder at Bristol Rd and Old Lincoln Hwy – it’s not a right turning lane, wait your effing turn, like err’body else! People who completely stop to make a right turn. People who make left turns on narrow roads and tie up traffic. People who sit at green lights. People who drive and don’t know how to in general – GET OUT OF MY WAY! 12) p*rnography = false advertising 13) multi-millionaires & other rich bast*rds – share the wealth! 14) money- how society revolves around it like it’s a f*cking deity 15) snobs- seriously, your sh*t DOES stink, just like everybody else. If an elderly person gets on a SEPTA vehicle before peak hours end, even if its like 2 minutes, they are told to either pay up or get off and wait for the next vehicle(bus, subway, regional rail). This is absolute crap. The elderly have worked hard all their g*ddamned lives, paid their dues to society, and they’re either dead before their time, shipped off to a sh*tty nursing home, or kicked off the bus or train and forced to wait in the cold, or even if its nice out, they're legs prolly hurt. And I HATE how people refer to her when I mention my daughter- we named her after my husband’s Italian great-grandmother, not some celebrity hobag. I explain this to people all the time.
