We are about the engagement & empowerment of indigenous people through dialogue and discussions that begin to work on solutions. Sign o the Times Blogtalk Radio is a labor of love for, by and of the Black African Community. While we often engage many nationalities in the work we do on a local, national and international level, our focus is on projects and programs that primarily benefit Black African youth and families. We begun this journey after the George Zimmerman verdict via a facebook page called If Zimmerman Walks We All Walk Blackout NYC. This page is at 8000 members with over 3/4ths being under the age of 25. We have a weekly conference call and will be celebrating our 1 year anniversary on July 27th, 2014. The Zimmerman Group Page spun off into the Sign o the Times Broadcast, the beginning of a group called the UAC (United African Coalition for Justice & Human Rights) and the development of a 10 point platform that addresses the basic needs of food, clothing, housing, justice and education. We very much appreciate your support and commitment to this project. This is just the beginning of better things to come.
