Guest: Takkara Johnson
Takarra "KariJay" Johnson is a 17 year old California native. KariJay is a Senior at Sac High and proud member of the Law and Public Service program. After high school , she plans to attend Howard University in Washington , DC. Kari Jay is an outstanding student, activist, speaker and a dedicated poet. Takarra has been 1/8th of the Sacramento Area Youth Speaks slam team for the last 2 years; placing 1st in every round of competition. She uses her words to speak for the unspoken and to heal the heart.

Guest: Barry Accius is the Co-Founder and CEO of Voice of the Youth (VOY), a non-profit organization, which provides mentoring services to youth ages 11-25. He is a native of New York and was raised in Marin County, CA and now lives, as a single father his teenage daughter. Mr. Accius is currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education & Hospitality Management.
