Sonia Nadina Haynes interviews Patricia Corbett Bowman, author of the young adult novel, Back In Her Time. Back In Her Time is a novel of a rebellious young woman who finds herself in the body of a male soldier back in World War II.

Sonia Nadina Haynes is president of The North Shore Writers Association. Patricia is an active member.

Patricia Corbett Bowman was born and grew up in Toronto, has lived in London, ON.,and Burks Falls.  She now resides in North Vancouver, B.C. with her husband and Golden Retriever, to be close to her grandsons.  She is a Snowbird who relishes her time for six months each year in Lakeland, Florida.

Patricia taught in private and public school for over seventeen years in London. Her hobbies include golfing, quilting and visits to the gym.  She has had articles and short stories published in major newspapers and magazines.  Her first Young Adult novel, Back In Her Time, a teen age girl’s time travel to WW11 was published in 2011.  Patricia enjoys reading and researching Canadian history.  Her second YA novel that takes place at a future Prime Minister's mansion, will be out later this year in book form and e-book.
