America is the only home most Americans have ever known. There are Native Americans, and then there is everyone else. Our ancestries are numerous. Most Americans are here today  because their ancestors sought better days. I ain't made with'em

The Native Americans are here because they are the original people of this land. My ancestors are here because they sought to do their jobs according to their African culture. Being viewed as a commodity, a ship captain saw a way to make money and he seized the opportunity by stealing a people.

July 4, 1776 the colonies legally held themselves out to the world as a free nation in it's own rights. This is my view of the history of the United States. But be clear, the states each were at the time a separate unit under no other control.
