There is a little good in the worst of us. There is a little bad in the best of us. Sometimes we forget this because the ignorance of people seems to resound the loudest. America has great people. America is a great country. Sometimes we forget this because of the segregation in America. This show is about Martin Luther King Jr. He was born in a time when separation of races was the law of the US. Ignorance was a factor in the fight to keep separation of the races the law. Black people were not considered to be people. Black people were forced to use back doors or no service; could not use public restrooms; could not use public swimming pool; or enter white businesses. MLK Jr. experienced the pain of these actions as a child. MLK had a dream. When he became a man he joined the civil rights movement as he set forth actions to make his dream reality.
