Her books include 'Shopping:  Why We Love It and How Retailers Can Create the Ultimate Customer Experience', 'Let Them Eat Cake: Marketing Luxury to the Masses-as well as the Classes', and 'Why People Buy Things They Don't Need: Understanding and Predicting Consumer Behavior'. Mr. Anderson’s firm, Anderson & Associates, conducts engagements in market, financial & economic impact analysis by tracking and evaluating wellness, hospitality and tourism trends. Mr. Anderson holds a Masters of Professional Studies from Cornell School of Hotel Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania. He has also studied environmental design and hospitality. He is a Board member and Instructor for UC Irvine’s Spa Management Program and teaches at the Collins School of Hospitality Management in Pomona, California.
