It's impossible to avoid the subject of politics in this topsy-turvy election year, so Sunday Morning Coming Down will discuss the strife and bickering that Christians are having amongst themselves on this weekend's broadcast.
There's a lot of infighting going on today between Christians. Many are accusing their brethren of not being real believers, claiming that unless they support a particular political favorite in this election year, we really can't be a Christian. Now we can all get very passionate about our beliefs and we do have a tendency to "think" we are always right. But it's important to remember that politics is so often divisive and often becomes hateful plus God has given us free will to each make our own choices. Let's just lower the rhetoric and remember that the Lord has the final answer on what will ultimately happen. He always has the final say and, in the meantime, remember that He expects us to love one another, even when we strongly disagree. Don't let your tongue overrule your sensibility, for we know what James says about the damage which the tongue can deliver. Let's keep it civil, under control and less judgmental and behave as He expects to one another. We hope you'll tune in for the message, We'll also have scripture, good Christian music and prayer. The show airs at 10:30 am. Saturday morning.
