Melissa Bacelar the founder of "The Poopie Foundation" 501c rescue is talking about her charity. Shortly after landing in La La land Melissa and Jeff heard a term that completely shocked them - Kill Shelter. They found out that in LA every state run shelter and humane society killed adoptable animals when they ran out of room. And they also learned that every shelter received 100's sometime 1000's of animals a week. Together they have been building an organization that they hope will change the way people see pets. Melissa also does pet psychic readings which help animals find perfect forever homes. All the proceeds go to The Poopie Foundation to get animals medical assistance, shots and transport.
