"kidthing": Children's Educational Web 2.0 Site Featured

The new "kidthing" site is in beta testing, but already shows great promise as a leader in educational games, virtual books and activities. The site has a store with virtual books ranging from $3.99 to $7.99. You can play them aloud as a talking book, turn pages with a mouse or automatically, and allow children to read them by themselves. The pages are animated and have professional actor's voices and background music. It reminds me of when I was a boy and laid in front of my record player and read the Disney record books.
The CEO, Larry Hitchcock will be interviewed Thursday, May 29 at 10:30 a.m. on the origin of the idea, the goals for the site and how to use it in applications for print disabilities for children. I have asked him to share his principles for success as well.

The site link is on my site link list or you can access it here: kidthing
    I hope you listen!
