Don Johnston, founder of Don Johnston , the company that creates learning intervention software and the publisher of Start to Finish Books, as well as other tools for literacy and learning, wrote his own story in the book, "Building Wings". Don has given this book out and made it available for free online. It charts his path from preschool through high school as he experienced his own way of coping and advocating for his own learning style and self-accommodations.
