A story that ran in Milwaukee about African immigrants criticizing Black Americans about the the crime and violence rate in Black communities (read it at http://www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/us-violence-is-stunning-for-african-immigrants-seeking-peace-s462evh-161841825.html) demonstrates an ongoing sore point amongst our people: the relationships between Blacks born in the west and Blacks born abroad that come here.
In Montreal, there are 3 major groupings of Blacks: Canadian born Blacks (44%), Caribbean born (41%) and African born (16%). This issue is usually studied from a socio-economic perspective.
Our broadcast today will study this from the teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad from a historical, theoloogical perspective.
