The one thing everyone conveniently misses is that Compean and Ramos tried to hide evidence that would otherwise would have extolled their service to their country. Any one of you would be upset if someone hid evidence to stay out of jail. If they had only not tried to tamper with evidence, then they would not be behind bars.

They need to free Our guys now, this has been an outrage. They need to untie the hands of our border patrol, to keep them safe. How uncommon your lack of Logic is about the Ramos and Compean case, you don't know didly about the suspect who had been trafficing drugs across the border before, well here is some Logic for you that is going to go right over your dumb ass head, all drug smugglers carry arms. Uncommon Logic: Ramos / Compean were rail-roaded by Johnny Sutton et. al. who duped the jury and withheld critical evidence from them. It was never proven that they shot this perp. - who was NOT an unknown. He was a drug smuggler who had been discovered in the midst of his incursion. Educate yourself before applying your "logic".

Common ilLogic, Have you read the transcript from the trial? I have. Did agents Ramos and Compean shoot at a man whom they knew to be unarmed? I see reasonable doubt. Compean said that as Aldrete-Davila fled, the smuggler turned toward him with a shiny object in his hand, so the agent fired back in self-defense. Ramos said that he heard the shots while he was crossing a ditch and could not see what was happening. Then, fearing for his partner's safety, he fired one round at the suspect.

You mean smuggling drugs into this country poses no threat? That's interesting! As was stated last night, some juries said that had they known some withheld info they would had voted differently. I have heard that complaint many, many times! Pardons are at the pleasure of the President and need NO reason what so ever!

Why should Ramos and Compean receive a pardon or commutation? They were convicted by a jury of their peer, a jury which was very pro law enforcement. It disgusts me that Joe Loya and others have put this pity party in the Court of Public Opinion. Their "job" was not to shoot an unarmed, unknown person in the butt when he posed no threat to either officer.
