MaryLovesJustice Prayer Meeting

Many tragedies happen during these Last Days. Each week, we learn about people subjected to cruel and unusual treatment by their government in the form of police violence and denial of basic human and civil rights. On a majority of the radio shows I participate in, we approach the issues from a mostly secular perspective. We are sensitive to the fact that our audiences are comprised of many people who have differing viewpoints on religion. But as a Christian, I feel that the problems we face can only be resolved when we apply the Biblical solution. God said:

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. ~2 Cor. 7:14.

So let us meet and pray about the negative circumstances we learned about during the previous week and other matters that disturb us. Let us humble ourselves and pray for families who lost loved ones in incidents of violence and everybody who is separated from relatives through the criminal justice system.
