As many of you know, FreeRepublic's own CHICAGOLADY, Rosanna Pulido, is on the ballot in the IL 5th Congressional District Special Election on April 7th, only two weeks from tomorrow. This race will decide who fills the House seat vacated by Rahm Emanuel when he moved into the White House with Barack Obama.

This district covers a large swath of the North Side of Chicago, and several northwest suburbs. It is a heavily Catholic area that has been dominated by the Democrat machine, but it doesn't have to stay that way. If you talk to folks in the Fifth, you know that there is a huge untapped discontent with the powers-that-be.

Just talking about how bad Nancy Pelosi and her merry little band of revolutionaries are IS NOT ENOUGH! We MUST begin to break their hold on power, by direct political action!

So, if you're someone who want to ACT, not just talk, I'm asking you today to make some phone calls for Rosanna. Nothing difficult, but it could turn out to be the most important thing you could do.

Many of you have unlimited long distance, or spare minutes. Please use them in the mission of electing a solid conservative, and beginning the process of electing a truly conservative Congress in 2010.
