"Faith, Hope, and Love...the greatest of these is Love."  We've al heard this once or twice before; remember?  There is little dspute in the answer the Bible gives--Love.  Cah we build a case for Faith?  Or Hope?  Or, maybe even Trust?  Perhaps.

Our Faith airses from our personal experience of Jesus as Lord.  Hope is the reliance on the promise of Jesus, acompanied by the expectation of fulfillment.  some say that Trust is the joining of Faith and Hope.  In other words, Faith + Hope = Trust. Okay, but I see this equation missing something.  Note James 2.1, "Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself."  I see Trust as being the "works" mentioned by James; I see Trust as being the "personal experience of Jesus as Lord" in the sentence ongrowing Faith mentioned above.  "Persona experience with Christ;" "works" from dependence upon Christ, is wat gives life to our FAith.  I see "Trust" being used as a verb in the Scriptures; action; works; doing/acting on what or who we say we have Faith.

Our next two lessons will bring us closer to seeing and experiencing that Transformed Life that Christ gave us on the Cross as we answer the question, "Is The Real Issue Here-TRUST?  My quick but firm answer answer is "Yes" and will potentially move our relaionship with God from intellectual to experienctial; a deeper, more personal relationship filled with intense meaning.  Let's begin.
