In 2013 PJ Bracco of Red Hook Films directed a music video, We’re In for a Long Night by The Waffle Stompers, which was screened at the Garden State Film Festival. At this year’s film festival in Atlantic City, PJ had three Official Selections, music videos When I Sing and After Life, and the official re-release of his film Goin Down which he wrote, directed and starred in (best line from the movie: You can do anything you want to do in life Joey... just don't get caught.) And the winner is -- After Life by Camryn James and directed by PJ Bracco, for Home Grown Best Music Video Award! An alumni of Boston University’s College of Theatre Arts, PJ holds a BFA in acting. He’s an award-winning actor/director and has worked in theatre and film from Boston to NY. Credits include Dopey in Balm in Gilead, Hamm in Endgame, Paul in the award-winning feature The Court, The Smoker in The Gambler’s Club, and Paul Raimo in Raimo’s Price. In 1997 he launched his company Red Hook Films, right out of his own living room in Red Hook Brooklyn, and has been developing and producing films ever since. Red Hook Films® is a full service motion picture production company that creates features, shorts, commercials, and music videos. Some of Red Hook Films’ productions include The Court, Goin Down, Ursa Minor, Stocks Bonds and Notes, and The Goner. Recently PJ created the Red Hook Films® Web Series Screenplay Competition which incorporates the specific theme of THIRST. There will be much more on that when we speak to PJ.
