Family. It’s a tricky thing. Add crime, murder, betrayal, and loyalty to the mix, and you have all the necessary ingredients for a fascinating story. And film that story at some of the Jersey Shore’s best known locations, and you have Writer, Producer, Director, Actor Joe Basile’s recently completed movie – West End. Imagine Hamet at the Jersey Shore and that gives you some indication of the body count. Look, every family has a dark side, and who doesn’t love a good crime drama with a compelling story and a colorful cast? If you want to check out the teaser for the move click here for a taste. Joe Basile has visited Jersey Coastal Live twice before to discuss the progress of his movie, West End. Finally completed, it will be premiered on Saturday night of April 6 at the Garden State Film Festival on the big screen of the Paramount Theater. This is a huge moment for Joe and I can’t wait to watch his movie on the big screen in Asbury Park.

West End has a great cast of talented actors including Eric Roberts, Neal Bledsoe, Peter Onorati, Melissa Archer, Lou Martini, Jr., and several more. I can’t tell you everything about the movie; there have to be some surprises. Joe will share his experience of getting this movie completed and ready for the big screen and what’s in store for him going forward. If you love movies like I do, don’t miss this unique opportunity to spend some time with Joe and get some of the back-story on the production of West End. After the interview, check out After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more information.
