Lou Martini Jr. is the one and only actor to have appeared in both the classic movie The Godfather and the classic TV series The Soparanos. A very young Lou made his film debut in The Godfather as one of Vito Corleone’s grandkids. In the last 2 seasons of The Sopranos, Lou played the recurring character, Anthony Infante, brother-in-law to New York mob boss Johnny Sacramoni. And then there’s the countless Broadway plays and Lou’s many movie and TV credits including numerous appearances on the various NBC Law & Order series: Law & Order, Criminal Intent and Special Victims Unit. Born and raised in New York, Lou recently finished filming the movie West End, a crime drama, which was filmed entirely on location at various Jersey Shore venues. In this movie, he plays a shady Seaside Heights nightclub owner who resists doing business with some other shady characters. And in the end – well, you’ll just have to wait for the movie to be released. I’ll be asking Lou about his Jersey Shore shooting experience (no pun intended) and what it was like to film on location in Seaside Heights. On July 29th at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel in Asbury Park, Lou was a cast member in a play reading of Wild Children, a play written by Vincent Pastore. He’s also getting ready to open in another play, Centennial Casting, in September. Among Lou’s acting goals is to work with Al Pacino, but he’s already played one of his favorite screen idols – Elvis – in the movie Won Ton Baby. So you know I’ll have to get the details on that movie. After the interview, please check out After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.
