If laughter is the best medicine, we all need a hefty dose of comedian Mike Marino, aka New Jersey’s Bad Boy of Comedy. I’m a huge fan of comedy and had the opportunity to see Mike perform at a benefit last night. Honestly, I laughed till I cried – really funny stuff and I loved it! Mike grew up in Jersey City and got his start in New York as an actor and got into stand-up when he moved to LA. With his edgy Jersey Italian humor, he brings you right into his world. But guess what – it’s your world too. The family, Sunday dinners, mom’s cooking, the old neighborhood, coffee at Starbucks, tolls on the parkway, getting older, and shopping at Walmart. Mike’s stand-up material ranges from cutting edge observations of everyday life to his Italian family roots. We all relate to these familiar themes, and Mike’s sharp delivery will have you in stitches. Seriously, nothing is funnier than real life.

Mike has appeared at every major comedy club form NY to LA as well as in soaps, over 200 commercials, and countless TV shows. He’s appeared with some of the biggest names in show biz and in 2008, Mike Marino was inducted into the New Jersey Comedy Hall of Fame.

This interview comes right before Mike is scheduled to perform at a new comedy concert to be filmed live at the Borgata Casino in Atlantic City on Friday, April 27th. Get your tickets now and be part of this special live "one night only” performance with New Jersey’s Bad Boy of Comedy! After the interview, check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.
