For many people, managing their finances is in the same category as clean out the basement or scrub the kitchen floor. Of course we know we should be more careful about our money, but life has so many distractions (like Dancing with the Stars or The Bachelor). The safest way to double your money in this crazy economy is to fold it over and put it in your pocket. Today we’re taking a light-hearted look at money and how we spend it, save it, earn it, and frequently loose it. Many people worry that they spend too much and save too little and don’t know how to reverse this trend. John Papa of Diversified Planning Strategies has been in the Financial Services filed for over 22 years. He has appeared on Fox News Live with Tracy Byrnes, on MSNBC and has been interviewed countless times for NJ magazines and newspapers. So he definitely knows a thing or two about money. He’s also a husband and dad, so he also understands that money is a large part of the family dynamic these days. He’ll offer his own thoughts on what wrong with our money habits and how we might get on the path to a brighter future. After the interview, please check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.
