It’s Elvis Week on Jersey Coastal Live! January 20 marks the 8th consecutive year of The Elvis Birthday Bash at the Count Basie Theatre. Naturally, I’ve been to every single show, and this year I’m excited to have the opportunity to interview both renowned impersonators Mike Albert and Scot Bruce, who will be accompanied live on stage by the seven-piece Big E Band. I hope you already bought your tickets – it typically is a sell-out!

Scot Bruce, back for his 8th performance in Red Bank, is an LA-based actor and musician who gets the party started with his 50’s era Elvis show. Scot’s uncanny resemblance to the young King, not to mention his ability to sing, strum a guitar and swivel his hips like Elvis, has taken him across the U.S. and all over the world to perform his live show. As Elvis, he has appeared in music videos with Faith Hill and Sheryl Crow. Oh yeah. He’s got it all going on. There are thousands of Elvis impersonators out there, but Scot Bruce is among the very best. When he’s on stage, he seems to be channeling Elvis and always leaves the audience “all shook up” and wanting more. After the show, go to After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more information.
