Ted Coleman is now actively working in his second career as a musician. After retiring from Merck, this jazz musician has been busy getting his new career underway. Ted plays piano, MalletKat, and sings – he’s got the whole package. I first caught up with Ted this summer when he asked me to take some head shots for his future web site. He wanted to have his photos taken at Chico’s House of Jazz in Asbury Park. That seemed only right, since Ted had been performing and entertaining at Chico’s for a while. He played his smooth jazz on the patio at Chico's to warm up the crowds. If you were fortunate enough to see Ted perform, you understand what makes his sound special. And then there is his other work in his own studio as a music producer and studio engineer. Ted’s a busy guy! After the interview with Ted, please check the blog, After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live, for more information.
